TRIF | Starry Sky on the Square Near the Planetarium in Riviera Park (Sochi)

TRIF, a Russian lighting manufacturer, continuously works within the presidential program aimed at improving urban environments across Russia. This national project is focused on shaping a new image of Russian cities, which is essential for the development of domestic tourism. The presidential program is also aimed at creating a comfortable living environment for residents.

As part of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment,” we carried out the installation of lighting fixtures on the square near the Planetarium in Riviera Park, Sochi. Impact-resistant ICE MTL STAR luminaires were installed directly into the paving stones. The design concept of the square was to depict the outlines of the constellations Cassiopeia, Ursa Major, and Aquarius using TRIF luminaires combined with paving stones of different colors. TRIF luminaires transformed the area in front of the Planetarium and turned it into a new attraction for tourists.

ICE MTL STAR in-ground luminaires were specifically designed for installation into paving stones. These models operate in any climate zone: during heavy precipitation, fully submerged in water, under snow, and in frozen ground. The luminaires are resistant to chemical de-icing agents used for snow removal.

Advantages of TRIF luminaires:

  • Waterproof protection according to IP69K standard;
  • Anti-vandal properties compliant with IK10 standard;
  • Service life — up to 50,000 operating hours in any climatic conditions.

ICE MTL STAR LED luminaires offer a wide range of modifications. The models are available in different sizes, with various mounting options, and in different color temperatures.
